The List View in CMK provides a quick way to browse through your records. You may also perform a search on the fields shown from this layout.



The Fields

Toggle - The toggle on this layout opens the same record in the Personal & Family layout.

Member# - You may assign each member in your file a unique number. Records may be sorted by this number.

Last Name - The member's last name. CMK usually sorts by the member's last name unless you select "Sort" from the Mode menu.

First Name - The member's first name. For couples both first names should be entered into this field.

Home Phone - This is the members home phone number entered into the Home Phone on Personal & Family layout. Clicking on the phone icon will dial the number. Be sure to set the dialing preferences.

Mark - Use the Mark check box to distinguish between records. This field is useful for identifying diverse records and performing quick searches for those fields.

Family ID# - The Family ID# is an important number. It is used to relate family members within CMK and the Children files.

Store - On the list view layout this button stores the data from the current record being browsed in the Stored file. When you click on this button a confirmation dialog pops-up. Click on the Buttons link in the contents pane for more information.
