Thank you for using Church Membership Keeper (CMK). I originally designed it for my congregation. Then it occured to me that there were probably a lot of churches that needed inexpensive yet powerful church management software so I made it available as shareware on the web. It has come a long way since its first release.
Use this powerful application to track vital information about members of your church. The software recognizes that churches have a diversity of people and you need to record unique information about them. CMK is flexible enough to allow you to keep records for individuals and yet cater to the whole family as a single unit. It includes relational databases which means ultimately the overall file size is smaller because only important information gets stored for each record without requiring a space consuming layout for each record in the database.
CMK tracks pledges and giving, children (including youth ministry), attendance, Prospects/Visitors, favorite songs and scripture passages (handy for planning special events and funerals), visitation, and private pastoral notes.
I intend to keep developing CMK to meet the needs of today’s church and the church of the future. Most of what you find in CMK has been inspired by suggestions and needs of users like you.
